Santos will look to stop Orlando Pirates in their tracks when they clash at Athlone Stadium on Saturday. The People's team are currently sitting eighth on the league table and a win could take them to fifth spot as they have a game in hand.
However the Soweto giants have managed to move up to the table since the restart last month. They have not lost since the 10th of January when they were beaten by log leaders Supersport United.
Santos has beaten Pirates twice in their last three meeting but Captain ! Musa Otieno says those wins will not have a bearing on Saturday's game.
"Sometimes we check the records but now it is a new ball game with different players and it's a new year. It's a matter of 90 minutes, we need to work hard and see what will happen after the game."
Elezar Rogers could find himself back in team, the striker has overcome injury that has kept him out off the last few games. Rogers says he can't wait to get back on the field.
"I've seen the guys working hard and I feel left out and that is something (training) I want to be part of and I miss it. I am ready and working on it but I won't say if I am fit for the game yet because my inclusion has not been discussed."
Kick of is at 15h30.
